OUR HISTORY
FOUNDED IN 1960 AS A LOCAL LUMBER AND COAL BUSINESS, Home Supply Inc. quickly became a trusted resource for contractors and homeowners throughout Hawthorne and Bergen County. In 1976, Charlie Verhoog joined as a stockboy when the company had four employees. At 24, he became a partner, eventually assuming ownership and leading decades of growth built on hard work, trusted relationships, and exceptional service.
UNDER CHARLIE’S LEADERSHIP, HOME SUPPLY EVOLVED beyond its lumberyard roots, expanding into custom kitchens and cabinetry, earning a reputation for quality craftsmanship and dependable installation. Later, windows and doors expanded the company’s offerings while maintaining the personalized service that defined Home Supply from the start.
TODAY, HOME SUPPLY SERVES CONTRACTORS, BUILDERS, DESIGNERS, DEVELOPERS, AND HOMEOWNERS with a complete offering of lumber and building materials, custom kitchens and cabinetry, windows and doors, millwork, and installation.
